I remember when I was in the uk prior to COVID I was shocked at how wide spread being cashless was out there. I never once pulled any physical money out for the entirety of my 2 week trip.
London is way ahead of LA as far going cashless, so if they’re saying it’s easier for developing countries to transition to a cashless payment system, because of less financial barriers than that’s where I’m going invest heavy.
