i need the EV wave to bring about more rugged looking SUV's, i hate these curvy bubble SUV's, I want the boxy Escape, Yukon, Terrain 00's - early 10's designs back, not bytch shapes like CRVs, X3's and Rav 4's and not asteroids like that rock shaped Cybertruck. Rivian might have the design closest to what I'm looking for but they're likely more than a year out before they start shipping cars

if i were into pickups, that Lordstown truck is nice also

There are some nice SUVs on the Horizon tho.
Future EVs: Every Electric Vehicle Coming Soon

Tesla is still ahead of most as they've been in the game for over a decade now and their tech is way ahead of the curve of others. Their supercharger network also is significantly ahead of the competition (actually, they have ZERO competition here. Others will have their customers using Tesla Superchargers...another great reason to invest in Tesla :youngsabo: )

3rd party supercharger gas stations is gonna be the lick soon. Sounds crazy, but if we can pool our bread to open these joints, we'd be eating like crazy.

Big lots near interstates with Superchargers and places for people to eat while charging is gonna be the new wave. BELIEVE DAT. Right now the Tesla Superchargers are near places to eat on other people's property. When I charged in Augusta, it was at a steak and shake. On the way home, the other Tesla Superchargers spot in Augusta was in a hotel parking lot and we walked across the street to eat at a Mexican spot. When I was home in Charleston, it was at a Mellow Mushroom Pizza place across from the Tanger Outlet Mall.

Just think, a place where you can sit/go grab food right there on site while your car supercharges. Pump gas stations are gonna be on the way down, time to prepare for the future. You can have it almost like a truck stop. 50/60 spots where you can park, and go inside to a food court style joint. Even have a play area for kids.

Mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

What made you buy this? It's running up crazy but the info I found seems like a bunch of nothing... I will admit ignorance though.

Yahoo is now a part of Verizon Media

Props for finding this though, you must be eating even if you just got in yesterday, let alone early March.

It was someone here actually!

I'm OTC gang

Once people try it :banderas:

No turning back
I still don't see EVs as worth the premium they cost. He was saying driving a Tesla knocks off paying $450 a month in gas. I guarantee there's a self incurred cost in there that pushes it that high in the first place.

It's like when a person tells you a car lease saves them money because they don't have to trade in the car every 3 years to get a new one. I look at them and go if you really wanted to save money you wouldn't switch cars every 3 years.

I could get a cheap used ICE car to drive to and from work. A reliable Japanese type, pay cash for it, and even if you factor in maintenance, gas, and all other cost it's gonna be way cheaper than paying $50K+ for an EV. We could get that to probably a 15 year+ horizon to where the cost even break even.

The tech geek in me would love a Tesla but the pragmatist in me knows it's just a toy. You can rationalize almost anything to your advantage if you apply base logic that forces it to be so. As I've gotten older my attitude has been to admit when I'm buying a toy and stop dressing it up in savvy decision making. That's not saying there's anything wrong with buying toys because there isn't.
