Any of you currently invested in TIGR or FUTU? If no, why not?

I mean, they are Chinese companies, so there is that trepidation, but besides that, there seems to be forthcoming growth in these companies. Also, are any of you currently in China or Singapore, and know anyone personally that's actually using these apps?

One question :jbhmm:

So I'm a bit lost on my MLND play. Basically the crash today was caused by the news that they will merge with another company. This is new to me and I do not know how to manage.
Tempest and Millendo Announce Proposed Merger Agreement - Investors - Millendo Therapeutics, Inc.

That Tempest renaming is not effective yet so that TPST qupte doesn't exist. What will happen with my MLND holdings ? Will they be converted to TPST once the merger is official or should I sell the MLND to rebuy TPST once it starts trading ? I did not do the maths on the possible devaluation of the stock so it's really just a technical question on how to manage mergers.
Can I get some advice on this please ? :mjcry:

Archegos says all you need to know about how greed drives the markets.

So what happens next.. And Inflation waiting in the wings. Near zero interest rates and printing presses already strained.

2020's party is just getting started :wow:

last week was the time to jump on these

I was debating adding FUTU, but just riding with the much more speculative MICT right now. Wednesday premarket earnings call should let us know where they're at in their platform development.. hopefully they announce launch. Going to fall if not

I'm surprised they're still around. They were the only big box electronic store to survive.

If yall ain't in ROOT nows a good time...

people always drop lines like this...what is this ticker? why is now a good time to invest? what type of investment is this - pump and dump? mid term? long term?

whats good about root?

RSI is 26.94, undertraded. Chart points to 60% of their ATH, in fact hit it's all time low today. Below the MA50 and MA20. Chart shows stock has been bearish since 2/10, and it looks like it's hitting a bottom. Also today was a reversal sign (bullish) at the very bottom, BUT still closed higher than yesterdays closing price (confirmation of Bull tendencies). Short interest is quite high, with almost 7 days to cover. Root does direct to consumer insurance products. The big one is auto insurance, where they'll take your tendencies while driving, and apply a rate to it. Either @Eric Brooks or @Serious talked about this stock quite a bit a few months back. So yea, they're like Lemonade to a degree. Except it costs less than $12.
Edit: Also, Lemonade has a 6BB market cap and is around $100, Root has a 2.77BB cap and trades at $11.
Entertainment of course.

ROOT 12/17 $15
Last 4.14

If this bad boy has a down day again I'm copping this. Easy money. Entertainment purposes and all that. Up 15% since these posts.
