What's sad is that there isn't a a single exaggeration on that list.

I know. Regarding number 2 I remember Maria Bartiromo and the CEO of Waste Management celebrating the great quarter WM just had and he's sitting there talking about how they laid off 700 people. He didn't even bat an eye or show any remorse for it -they both were practically celebrating. I was pretty disgusted at both of them.

Over 23,000 Jan 15 $20 calls on ACHN today around $1.70 a contract. Looks like someone knows something or is willing to bet a lot on something.

:ehh:

I don't know man, 10 straight quarters of declining sales, like you said it's below it's 200 and 50 DMA = bearish.

The CEO says weird shyt like the industry is moving faster than IBM is.

They did get rid of the server business which was a good move.

The thing is it was a leader in the tech industry and blue chip stock for so long I don't know if you can give up on it. Positives though - they are really focusing on cloud services, they made a partnership with apple and bought an interesting company called SoftLayer.

I'm kind of torn on whether it's a buy or not. I'd like to see them devote some money to R&D or an acquisition instead of just keep buying back their stock.

I'll give them this they love buying back their stock. Buying back $5 billion more:

edit: They buy this with debt I'd have serious concerns about what their equity is worth

Brehs, keep an eye out on MNKD. It was my first stock. Lost half after it went from 11 to a low of 4.68 on Monday. But it's a heavily shorted stock and I think they're covering. Has gained 15% in the last two days. They start shipping their insulin pump medication Afrezza in January

6.18 today. Have made over 2k off this puppy the past three days. Dumped the whole kitten caboodle in this bytch with a margin too.

without looking at it what do they do?

What does the company do? They've developed a fast-acting insulin medication called Afrezza along with an accompanying inhaler Dreamboat. The CEO Al Mann invested $2B of his own money into creating it. Shorts like to point to a similar product called Exubera that failed 7 years ago but 1) Pfizer barely marketed the thing. 2) The pump (below) was huge compared. 3) Mannkind partnered with a reputable diabetes biopharm in Sanofi, although the deal was kind of iffy and most people were looking for a straight buyout (which could still happen in the future). 4) There are 30+ million ppl in the US alone with diabetes and the numbers are increasing, and the drug will be marketed worldwide.

I'm not super long on this though. If it reaches the 11 range again, I might get skittish and dump then reinvest a portion of my net.
