We'll have to see what those motivations are. I'm just hesitant to be in outrage over something that they technically had the right to do. That's the game.

Very interesting, there’s a lot those in power are “technically” allowed do that isn’t ethical or fair, surprised to see you caping for shut like that. Anyway, CNBC just had the CEO of interactive brokers on, the other platform that banned buying these stocks, and the motivation was purely about protecting institutions - he said it flat out, I’m sure the video will be up soon. That’s bullshyt and just another example of how corporate (America)can run roughshod over everyday Americans/people.
I don't see how I'm caping. If I said "fukk yeah, burn down the stock market I hope everyone loses" I think that's just as equally irrational. I'm genuinely interested in seeing where this goes instead of getting emotional reactions and speculations.

Here's the video for those who didn't see it:

Part 2 of that same interview. He keeps repeating this whole this "stock is worth $17 and trading much higher" but that bs. Even as someone not involved right now, that's bs.

Brokers can just limit stock purchases because they feel it's mispriced?

Glad I sold BB for profit. This chasing after a hype stocks ain't me.

I took a loss on CRNT a little last week and sold it too. I'll buy them back below $4.
Didn't sell a share here. Lost $3000 of profits today.
I need SoFi to go ahead and tell the autists to come to Death Row - let's make sure they are the preferred autist brokerage ahead of the IPOE merger :smugbiden:
SoFi uses Apex Clearing

Perhaps I missed it somewhere else, but can someone explain why short selling is even legal in the first place?
