If there's any pushback from reddit or youtube robinhood will die. I don't know why people use robinhood when every trading app is free to use now.

They had first movers advantage. Userbase is 13 million plus now. And they're easy to use. Even when they loose people more sign up. They also make money when people switch accounts. Your average user is too lazy to switch brokerages. But this is as big a faux pas as I've ever seen them make. It's going to be fascinating to see how they make out. Remember they have a lot of big VCs backing them that want a return on their investment. Big names that will try to protect them.

How you do that?

Open an account with another brokerage and there's a transfer button. It takes like 3-5 days for all your shares to be transferred.
