Yup exactly@Scholar I think i got it. I forgot that they count options by 100 so 1000 would actually be 100,000 and thats where the 40k comes from.

If you go Fidelity use the mobile app and when buying stocks select fewer options at the bottom of the screen. That let's you buy fractional shares. They desperately need to revamp their app and allow fractional shares away from mobile.Check Fidelity too.

Skip robinhood, and M1 ain’t for trading, so if you want to make moves freely and often, don’t use M1 for your primary account
