Man the stock market is truly a roller coaster! My portfolio has swung all the way from -14% all the way to +1.8% (a swing of nearly 13K...). After divesting my weed stocks and going back to the basics, my portfolio seems to be doing allright. All this proves is that if you buy with the long term in mind, you'll be able to weather any storm your portfolio may endure.

Ebay was a dog in my portfolio all last year, so i sold. Any reason you think Ebay is good? I'll be interested in buying some Paypal when the inevitable spin of occurs though.

Be careful. Biotech stocks can be some of the most unstable companies to invest. One FDA rejection could send the stock price tumbling. Be very careful and do your own due dilligence.

MNKED is so 2007 - they've been thrawted at every step of the way, doubt it will get passed this time around.

The drug was approved today but with a mandatory warning required on the box. Stock dropped 5% and is sitting at 10 even right now. I'm going long though. Cats are saying partnership will boost the stock

I mentioned WTSL options last week. Tried to get my order filled at 10 cents, but the ask was 15 on September $1 calls. I have a feeling I'm going to kick myself for being cheap.

Looks like it finally is breaking out of the downward trend.

And there were gigantic after hours orders in the millions on this. The after hours was 5 times the daily trading volume.

Might fly on Monday.



But considering the price didn't really budge after hours, I'm assuming there's a boring explanation for the volume.

you'd have to be an institutional investor to buy a swap.

maybe find an ETF that shorts municipal bond markets? or just short an existing municipal bond etf.

it's really only affecting bondholders and probably won't have an affect on the stock markets. I'll have to look at it. Did the markets react to the Detroit bankruptcy?
