Also, Slack just got bought by CRM and made a shyt ton of money.....unless you bought at the IPO and sold when it dipped, Slack literally went from 25 bucks 3 months ago to 43 now? So what???

lol, slack being acquired is a testament to how there was no path forward as a standalone company. wtf breh that's literally the only thing that could save it. business operations didn't grow the stock nor its ability to defend from competition

not even sure what you're talking about with SQ as everything its doing this year it did last year. seems like you just discovered this company during this year's stock price surge...

Aware, as someone who is extremely good at doing DD you know Square isn't going anywhere but up.

the vast majority of stocks go up for companies that don't outright fail...the length of time that takes and speed of growth are they key variables

i agree that SQ is in a hyper-growth phase, but it's not as simple as "it grew 300% this year so hella fukking growth ahead"

and slack is a very fair example of why saying more use = more stock growth is wrong.

you're c/s'ing a dude who admitted he does no DD, can't read a balance sheet and just follows hot picks here....there's literally no nuance to his arguments other than "the stock price went up so ha!"

Fundamentally she's right though that people need to stop associating stock price with company performance but regarding SQ I think it has lot of room to run as well because the primary objective of SQ is supposed to be to target the Un / underbanked population which is still a lot.

Also don't be surprised if SQ aquires an overseas mobile payment company. That was the purpose of Jack Dorsey being in Africa.

Can't say. It should hit 20 sometime within the next year or two. Maybe longer

Long term I don't have a price target yet. But I do know that most health care stocks that trade within this space end up around 150+.

I think sooner because the merger vote will be first wee of Jan so I'm betting a run up to then.
