Who is invested in UAL (United Airlines)?

How long have they not had a dividend?

I was considering investing in them, but I wish they had a dividend.

It would take me 10 years of dividend payments to make up the money that Target went up in less than 8 months since I sold it. Let that be a lesson that dividend yields aren't everything.
winb83 is about to start investing in Growth stocks :blessed:

We've all said you're too young to be investing like an old man.

90% of professional investors in SPAC's divest right before the merger, leaving a lot of "bag holders".

CNBC clearly has a mission, between shytting on SPACs or RH idk what's worse. Those are their go to dog whistles.

If you get in early there's nothing to worry about. The key is to NOT chase and that can be said about a lot of stocks. Let it come back to you.

Right on time:

Two most important things to look for in a company:
-proof of concept
-ability to scale

Stock price is not indictive of company performance.

I've heard about that upcoming IPO. Now it does look good, however, I feel like they only become much larger due to people staying at home and spending more time on it. What happens when everything goes back to normal meaning people are spending less time on computers, and that means less time on roblox. this shyt looks like minecraft too :mjlol:

They make money through developers who make there own games and they take a cut. they have over 300,000 developers they make money from. And from premium subscriptions.

I think they got potential. Long term hold i'm not fully convinced yet. however, on the short term this CAN AND PROBABLY WILL BE A SOLID FLIP from it's IPO to spring next year. can go on a run similar to unity (i can't believe i didn't get in on that :hhh:)

all in all, it's a cop on the ipo date for a serious major flip!

like chicken singpore says dividend investing is practially dead. :manny:

it was tempting to buy these dirt cheap airline stocks, but there are far better stocks out there. i ain't wasting my time on these stocks which could tank at any minute on a bad covid related news. i'm glad i ate and moved on with BA and DAL.

Dude has 4 stocks as well.....

chicken and smp got to be the biggest tesla homers in youtube :russ:

i wanna be like them, but i got no balls. i got 6 stocks in my main account :wow:

Tesla is a tech company not an auto company that’s why those graphs above don’t matter

Yes they matter. Tech companies that have traded at Tesla valuations in the past despite facing massive imminent threats bust in major way

Please tell me who the competition is?

When you look at the growth ahead the valuation is justifable

the competition is the entire auto industry coming with a wave of electric cars in addition to decades of mass production experience. Musk himself said Tesla almost went bankrupt last year due to struggles mass producing.

Do you realize Tesla is quickly becoming one of the best manufacturing companies in the world now? Their speed of adding changes into their process is unmatched and their manufacturing innovation is nonstop. See their stamping press machine that no other auto company has because Tesla made it. See their battery innovations and reduced factory footprint needed because of those innovations. Tesla has the best engineers in the world

Your point about the competition is coming from legacy auto makers is laughable. Look at their timetables for ev adoption. Look at GM's recently announced EV truck compared to Tesla's cyber truck. Tesla's is cheaper with greater range and speed

Legacy automakers are too late to the party.

Time will tell. But usually these things don’t end well

Tesla going to be worth at least 1 trillion dollars

TSLA’s current trailing 12 month financials

Revenue $28.176B
Gross Profit $5.955B
Operating Income $1.778B
Net Income $533M
Free Cash Flow $1.827B

Already shared links that show the valuation is justified based off future growth

Extremely optimistic growth assumptions in a rapidly changing industry. At a minimum, Tesla’s profitability will be under constant pressure from competition and evaporation of cash flow from selling tax credits. I’m sure BlackBerry’s growth projections in 2007 for the next 10+ years were very optimistic too
