yeah this is the time to buy peloton imo. they have a loyal base and still growing.

to me this is very similar to LULU. Analysts don't know how to valuate these Karen stocks. Karens are brand hoes. they are not rational. $4000 is nothing if they can look and feel good.
so called analysts thought LULU was expensive at $90-$100. they didn't believe women would spend $120 for a damn yoga pants. :russ:

and PTON ain't got nothing to with people not wanting to go gym. that's short term.

PTON will be just fine as long as they make their brand desirable. they have to stay focused on their brand too. they can't be keep expanding and adding new shyt. they don't wanna do what nordictrack is doing. they can't start selling everything fitness related. that muddles the water. they need to stay expensive and stay zoned in on urban folks who are busy, but energetic. when they start tryna make everyone happy then that's when i feel they are losing their luster.

Peloton is on its way to becoming what Starbucks is to white women. Or an Apple phone. I had it in one of my M1s but I sold it out, I don't know what the true value will be but I do like the idea of it.
Yeah I agree. Things like Pton and zoom are not going away with covid. Why would I commute to your office if I can just zoom you. If you’re a Becky why deal with a busy gym if you can workout at home quickly

Don't touch (sell your shares, you'll make more over the long term). Idk how many times this needs to be reiterated on here.....

I peeped it earlier. I agree. If you hold you're good.

Young brehs time on our side too :lolbron::blessed:

all those boutique fitness brands were growing tho, well most, it was becoming saturated. but people like community, that's why small fitness outposts took off while big box gyms have struggled the past few years. a lot of people are wanting to get back to their fitness routine. smart (home) fitness will continue to grow also, but it's silly to think it will replace people's desire to exercise in groups

as for PTON specifically, they do have some of the best content and instructors of any fitness sub/app, i don't have their bike but use the app with my bike and love it

PTON is the lulu lemon of their space. White women have decided a clear winner :yeshrug:

Soul cycle started the wave but they took it

it's not, one, PTON isn't a karen stock...it's much further reaching than something like LULU.

PTON isn't displacing cross fit, barry's, f45, orange theory, barre, pilates, yoga, solidcore and a host of other boutique fitness experiences that were flying high before the virus shut down the fitness industry. for most people, PTON equipment/sub is an "and" not an "or"

PTON is creating a tribe breh. 96% retention rate is no joke. fitness junkies will go to gym and own Peloton bike. they will still do yoga and pilates. but they will also have PTON just in case. it appeals to alot of folks who can afford it. clear tarket market is busy 30-40 something want just can't find time to go to gym. and then COVID is here to stay. even with vaccines, alot of folks are turn off by going to gym regularly with all that sweats flying around. so PTON becomes a back up solution to their well being. and home spinning classes is an easy sell. i mean you dont wanna share bikes with strangers. it's nasty.

without a doubt it's a disruptor. disruptors dont have to destroy the establishment. disruptors eat their pie and create a new space and become a leader. They are a clear cut leader to me - a leader of home fitness subscription.

FE don't get it cuz he lives in Vegas. i bet PTON sells better in a place with a lousy weather.

having said all that it's bit over priced. correct valuation is $70-$80. and it's a long hold. i got some with my m1. i sold 20k of it and ate profit. if they ever crash then i'm going in.

my biggest regret is not keeping my LULU at $110 :snoop:
i ain't making the same mistake. :shaq:

i already said it's an "and", most the people i know with peloton bikes still exercise elsewhere (prior to covid). yes it's creating a tribe, but it's not a karen tribe, LULU is a karen brand, peloton is much wider reaching.

anyway, i already said the smart fitness segment will continue to grow, but it wont replace in-person fitness (and sharing bikes isn't nasty, they are much easier to clean than weights or soft surfaces like mats)
