JB brought up a good point....

If overpriced stocks like FASTLY missing expectations is a sign of things to come in the earnings season, starting next week, then we should expect a lot of volatility / buying opportunities ahead.

I'm ready either way. If my watchlist goes up, I do nothing, if my watchlist dips I strike. :manny:

Stripe has a 36 billion dollar valuation. They're the largest nonipo tech company in the Silicon Valley. :jbhmm:

Tech companies are slowly going to Africa like I've been saying.

My best friends boss put in her two weeks and he said she's going to work for Stripe. He said they big on finance and mobile payments but I never heard of them. What is the low down on them and their potential?

They have a 36 billion valuation. That’s huge. I’ve heard of them, but haven’t really looked into them. Maybe some weekend research.

Their core product is a billing and payments infrastructure platform - devs use it to build custom billing and payments solutions for their companies. They’ve since expanded and have things from POS systems, to issuing corporate cards, to lending/loans for business. They compete in various ways against PayPal, square, Shopify, etc but where they differ is being an infrastructure platform (dev focused, more customizable) as opposed to the plug and play solutions from competitors that are aimed at non technical users. Because of that, they’ve cornered a niche and dominate it.

I’m fully :pacspit: Stripe, I applied there two years ago, they had an assignment I spent 4 days on, got rejected like 30 mins after submitting the assignment, no feedback, nothing. fukk them nikkas
