honestly @FabTrey I should have just did with LCA like I did with SHLL and others. Usually I will just buy a SPAC low and sell off the first pop and then wait for it to fall and then buy back in. With LCA I just spent time accumulating cheap shares and didn't play the entire game.

SPACs all follow that pattern

I used to sell credit processing awhile ago for this company first data. They were pushing the square readers and a ipad like device for stores at least 6 years ago. You would be surprised at the resistance especially from mom and pop stores to these products
I also read an article that some small businesses move on from Square to different operating systems if/when they upscale into a bigger operation. SQ should've been in the mid $200-300's by now imo.

I have ARKK in my M1 and some shares in my other accounts. I bought a gang of ARKF shares when the market was falling a couple weeks back. I like ARKF cause it's the fintech one which I'm very bullish.

i've been thinking about it for a long time, but i just have hard time choosing ETF over an individual stock tho.

what are the odds of these funds outperforming SQ or TSLA in 5 years? it's probably less than 50% if you ask me. i see both SQ and TSLA 7-10x.

and i have a high risk tolerance, so i don't need a safety net.

but maybe cathie really is a queen and she will 20x. :patrice:

ARKK itself is up like 80% this year and 300% over 3 years. All of their funds have similar results. I don't know if she can continue that rate of gains because a lot of it is to do with Tesla and Square but she and her people are very very good...

Look at PACB right now. They were on it weeks ago.. it's up over 40% since I bought in a couple weeks back.

I buy ARK shares like:

Because that's what I can afford right now.

You also have more capital than a lot of us here, and are a lot further in your career(investing and real life) than us, so you're automatically playing a different game. The way you move will be different than the way I move.

For every 1 square share now, I could buy like 5 ARKF shares. And I have no doubt that in the near future ARKF will be trading high.
