How does the apple split affect the dividend. Is that price goiN divide by 4 too?
The dividend per share will be 1/4th of what it is now. If you own the stock before the split you'll still get the same dividend in the end because the shares will match that. Buy it after the split and you'll get a cheaper share price but your dividend per share will match that as well.

How many splits have Apple done?

Apple (AAPL) has 4 splits in our Apple stock split history database. The first split for AAPL took place on June 16, 1987. This was a 2 for 1 split, meaning for each share of AAPL owned pre-split, the shareholder now owned 2 shares. For example, a 1000 share position pre-split, became a 2000 share position following the split. AAPL's second split took place on June 21, 2000. This was a 2 for 1 split, meaning for each share of AAPL owned pre-split, the shareholder now owned 2 shares. For example, a 2000 share position pre-split, became a 4000 share position following the split. AAPL's third split took place on February 28, 2005. This was a 2 for 1 split, meaning for each share of AAPL owned pre-split, the shareholder now owned 2 shares. For example, a 4000 share position pre-split, became a 8000 share position following the split. AAPL's 4th split took place on June 09, 2014. This was a 7 for 1 split, meaning for each share of AAPL owned pre-split, the shareholder now owned 7 shares. For example, a 8000 share position pre-split, became a 56000 share position following the split.

Nah - it would be the same total

23 x 0.82 = $18.86
92 x 0.205 = $18.86

Edit: Not sure how they do fraction of pennies - so they might round it off to 0.20 per or up to 0.21 per.

i think im gonna take my profits at the end of october

Im thinkin going 30% cash. Hopefully many growth stocks get a major dip. I need more longs.
