I'm still learning so this may very well be a noob question but let's say a stock is at $30 and I buy a $33 call with a $27 put. Would that be a dumb thing to do?

This is usually only good to do before a week or two earnings because IV would increase on both

Tesla probably, I mean I could keep them until battery day i guess but will that be any higher? I don't know what to expect.

I think they will get over $30 sometime in the near future but I'm concerned about jumping back in at these prices because if the opening of these casinos don't go smoothly I'm fukked with a cost basis I don't like.

One thing I did do also premarket is I started a little position in NCLH. It was at around $14 and now it's already at $15.60. I will keep and cost average down if need be, they are also way off their 52 weeks, way fukking off lol
