Thinking of buying carnival but after the coronavirus cruise stuff i'm in two minds. it averages between 40 - 50, but is now in the 10s since February after corona started being an issue. Is the cruise industry done for?

No they are not. You see how many people are itching to go outside? There's lots of people that don't care about the virus. They just want to go out and have fun.

Just grabbed a few shares of MGM cause I know they will bounce back. Trying to decide if I want JetBlue or carnival since they will both get bailed out

Nearly everything will bounce back at some point, it’s just a matter of finding the bottom and hoping that there’s not another crisis that comes and wipes out gains next year or whatever.

Timing is key if you really want to maximize profits. I think were a few weeks or even months from a bottom. There will be some spikes in between.

If you’re less concerned about timing just buy something depreciated now, set it and forget it... and don’t be shocked if you have losses in short term.

I think that ride back up will be swift, though. Unless like I said there’s another major catastrophe.
