Looks like shyt tbh but I'll take it at 3 a share for 10 shares and see what happens. Maybe this electrification shyt takes off because I am seeing a few people interested in that dumb ass mustang truck.

Product mix overall does scare me but I figure it's only $30 so whatever. I lost a lot more over the last week that will offset it on the upswing whenever it comes
agreed. what's got me very :ohhh: right now is wendys. very low share price, the question is can ready mcdonalds share price in the future which is 149 ish? I can see that happening. I see wendy becoming a very big corp.

Ford stock is really low brehs :patrice: but the news around it don't look good. Can i get to the 30s or 40s in the next year? Ford is of course part of American culture but it's look :francis: status.
Ford is a bad investment IMO but I'm in too deep to get out now. My cost basis in in the high $8s. At this point I should just go all in and let it fall or rise where it may. Same with CCL. Cost basis is like $26 or so and it's only 50 shares there so either it'll recover or go to zero on me.

I got stuck holding a few bad companies when the music stopped but I limited my investment in them to closer to $1500 or less.

Futures holding up and oil still spiking:jbhmm:

Oils up like 35% in two days. Doubt the Russians come to the table. They want revenge for nordstream 2. Should retest 20 once the rest of the country shuts down.

Edit actually I can see Putin using this to come to the world's aid to raise his stature. Not sure where things are going:jbhmm:

may have to give this a pass. Do you have Wendy stock by chance? It's quite low now, but I really think it'll blow up.

Consumer discretionary names are going to get smacked around for a while. Wouldn't be surprised if they have to cut dividends. I'd wait that out and look at consumer staple names before discretionary as of now. Check out names in the XLP ETF.

I have MCD exposure and its performed very well prior to corona...if I add any discretionary names I may look at Sbux.

Stocks don’t just drop. There’s gonna be a bounce before testing new lows.
Yeah but the market will bottom and begin to recover before the news cycle catches up
Market action a century ago suggests worst could be over for stocks, if not for the coronavirus pandemic
Traditionally the market's bottom isn't reflected with the news cycle. That's why I'm looking at all the people saying it'll get worse sideways because the news cycle very well may but you just can't know if we've hit rock bottom in the markets. Average all the way down and back up until you feel like nothings a good deal anymore when it comes to your targets.

But all of bad news has not come out, including higher death rates and whatever national shutdown get announced. That will absolutely affect the market

You may be right buy you also could be wrong.

At some point all the bad news will be priced in. Like I said in all likelyhood it will come well before we hit the worst of the crisis in the news cycle and the market will start to recover. There's gonna be guys saying stocks will fall back down again I'm just gonna wait and they won't. Somebody will look at Uber and see it was $14 the day before yesterday and want that price again and it's in the $20s on a bounce day so they wait and next thing you know it's back in the $40s and they missed out on everything being greedy waiting for the bottom they didn't know it hit already.

The problem is in the beginning people overreacted to all this so the market dropped faster than it should have. That's why we probably won't even notice when the bottom has been hit.
