Lynching was a town event that they'd all go to see the bad negro man or negro woman hang and would bring children all smiling like a circus. I wouldn't put it past them to even be aware that this was happening beforehand.

Your first reaction is always lowkey resolving white people of any past or current responsibility. It's like you willingly give the benefit of the doubt to whites but undermine black victims in these cases. you claimed that black men dont hang themselves from trees and I posted a story about a black men that did hang himself, black men are not an alien hive mind, they're people, there are many black men out here that are dealing with depression and other mental issues and they never get the help they need and they sometimes kill themselves.

As I said in an earlier post, it's possible that he was killed but we shouldn't completely rule out suicide
