Industry Rule #4080. One department of the label said Bobby Shmurda we got you, but the dudes who cuts the checks said hell nah.

If Lil Wayne has no weight at his label, you can imagine how much of a priority Shmurda really is to those execs.

Crazy, because CMR/YMCMB backed Cory Gunz broke azz all the way. Cory Gunz aint had no money and would have been screwed. Gun charge in NYC is no joke. Prodigy, Plaxico, Ja Rule, and Wayne had to do them years.

You say it's just business right?

Where do we draw the line?

These rap artists could function like business partners with the labels yet they are losing money based on these labels shady practices.

Isn't the only person supposed to lose money from the label and artists deal supposed to be the consumer?

The way it's set up now looks like they are just trying to fukk over those rappers without business sense.

It's actually fascinated to see triple standards by some of you fakkits in here

When rappers fukk each other over, over some dumb shyt, for example, 95% of Coli and prolly 100% of non-Coli, "outside" world looks up to Jigga J

Jay the ultimate hustla, rite? He da man rite? How much he worth, 5000 billie? 5000 trillie? Right? All yall infatuated by his numbas and cold blooded business approach.

But...when a dumb as c00n snitches on track and tries to be NY's Chief Keef, last for a hot minute and rats on himself eventually ending up in jail - yall cryin bout cac conspiracy and roothless cac world that dont care bout the black people.

:mjlol:

Maybe the ultimate hustler of this planet (Jigga J Z) finna bail him out and sign him to the Roc? After all, Roc is a army, a navy. :salute:

Contracts are the line in the sand.

Its based on what you negotiate.

TLC's CrazySexyCool album sold 23 million copies, and TLC was broke.

You really think if TLC had more knowledge of contracts and more negotiation they would of gotten chosen?

Let's be real here. Its basically a scam that we all been desensatised to.

Nicky Barnes New York Times cover
On June 5, 1977 The New York Times Magazine released an article titled "Mr. Untouchable", featuring Barnes posing on the front cover. The Times told Barnes that they were going to use a mug shot of Barnes unless he posed for the cameras. Barnes, who hated mug shots, agreed and took the shot.[3]

Barnes’ posture of smug invulnerability so affronted President Jimmy Carter that the President ordered his attorney general to prosecute him to the fullest extent of the law.
:laff:

That's the most textbook setup I've ever seen
