Nah. I didn't think they were actually gonna split them up that soon anyway, I looked at it like he was the new kid in the group that had to learn how to fall in line... all three of them were screamin' on him for a while. Then one week, he and Benjamin beat somebody and they were finally on the same page, and it was like "yeah, now you get it".
Yeah it's more of a tough love thing. That moment when MVP told him "get yo bytch ass out the ring" during the gauntlet match.

How diverse is the AEW roster though, for real?

Both rosters are about the same but AEW has that Nyla Rose and Sonny Kiss (no diss :whoa: :dame:) and people like to lump in the LGBTQ with “diversity”

both WWE and AEW showcase black wrestlers in both men and women’s divisions. It’s really a very similar demographic

This is what I'm talking about with these goofy black wrestling fans. He criticizes one company whose black wrestlers are winning titles, while praising another company just for having black wrestlers on the roster. Also how is it tokenism when they have Sasha as champ with Bianca challenging, Hurt Business having the tag titles, and the Street Profits having held the tag titles for over 10 months?

WWE certainly deserved criticism for how they treated black wrestlers in the recent past, but at least they seemed to have recognized their stupidity. Black wrestlers don't need to have all the titles all the time, but the days of them being used to put over the mediocre white hype needs to be eliminated.

AEW hired a black guy that just happens to be a fanook and went theres your diversity.

And that 6 man when he was arguing with Benjamin, then Lashley tagged himself in like "man fukk this" and Hurt Locked the shyt outta one of the Luchas... he was like the father tired of listening to his sons on some "both of yall get out the way, I got it!" Then they all was lookin' at Alexander like "boy, WTF is wrong with you" :russ:

The top of the card: all white guys, the secondary title scene: all white guys + Ricky Starks, tag title scene: there's a lot of diversity but the only guys of importance are white guys. Cody basically gets his own division.
But Cody is half Cuban, so a minority gets his own division :troll:

A Latino getting his own division, there's diversity for you :troll:

Props to Miz for being tasked with being a weak chicken shyt heel champ and leaning all the way in on it. As annoying as he and Morrison can be there is a definite need for them. Though when not dealing with world beaters like THB and Reigns they could be a BIT more crafty and villainous and less immature.

I went from

Lashley, literally the same act week in week out, this super angry, over the top, but not cutting it at that main strap level.. what is Creative doing he should be in a massive fued BUT I love the all Black team Hurt Business thing..
:jbhmm:

to...

Hey wait..... was this a long play set up with a RAW payoff!? I’m enjoying this whole Miz angle as a set up for Lashley...
:whoo:

To: hey damn a Black man can finally win the strap!!?? LET’S GOOOOOO LASHLEY!!!
:banderas:

So Lashley has almost everything (he is missing a really big famous finisher, but he makes up for it with strength) and this could be a real run. I sure hope they didn’t Miz him as a set up for someone else to get the strap at Mania.

You could feel during the night he went over and when he finally came down the ramp the second time there was a real pop. People were THAT bored with Miz aa a champ.

Very likely the Braun Strowman angle with Shane will lead to Strowman getting the shot at Mania.

If they really want to put Lashley over... he has to have an unforgettable match with Strowman at Mania. There’s not a lot of time (6 weeks) so it’ll be 5 weeks of build up but it can work. Especially if MVP turns on Lashley and helps Strowman or some angle like that.

BTW MVP’s mic/acting skills are for real brehs, we been knew that, but it’s on full display now

A non smiling, happy to be here putting smiles on faces black champ. An “I say imma kick your ass then I go out and do it” champ.

and that ain’t in no way a dig at Kofi because what he’s done was very much necessary. .. he as a smaller wrestler provided a positive image of strength and determination for black kids to look to like “that can be me someday” he was smiles and dances until it was time to flip that gear vs Bryan and he did that shyt. They normally don’t let black wrestlers flip that last gear and I’mma fully :salute: Kofi for getting around that comedy purgatory they like to try to keep smaller black wrestlers in

even if this ends up being a stint instead of a reign the Hurt Business as a vehicle has been successful. They’re damn near the only reason to watch RAW

A black wrestler that gets booked to his strengths without playing up stereotypes or hi jinks like they did when he first came back.

it’s fun to shyt on WWE but ya gotta be willing to give them a thumbs up when they finally get something right.
True, you gotta give it up when they actually get it right for once

Lashley has everything, and The Hurt Business has everything especially because of MVP and Lashley, to go on a real run.

Them letting Lashley drop the belt at Mania would be exactly the wrong to do by Creative and Vince

Hoping we get a long run here

I also like that they we are away from the “Black twerking wrestlers” (and I respect New Day but Lashley is a straight up, no-bs, powerful Black man and that is simply better than a Black man “entertaining”). Again, respect to Kofi and New Day, but I dig the no-nonsense energy of Lashley.

They do not showcase them in the same way though and I think WWE actually has more black wrestlers overall, plus they just signed 4 more to the performance center.
