Not nice enough to be posed with the hot toys though so I’ll just put it in my sons room

The Mandalorian TV show was born from canceling the Boba Fett movie that was scraped when "SOLO" bombed in the box office. Boba was always going to show up in this, it was just a matter of when lol.

What's this I keep hearing about Jango and Boba not being real Mandalorians?

Lucas changing his mind in 2009.

Lucas wanted Jango to be an outlaw that obtained the Mando armor accidentally or through unnatural means. CloneWars/Filoni had to ride with it, one of the Mandalorian politicians denied Jango when Obi-Wan brought it up.

but Jango is clearly adhering to Mandalorian lore in AOTC by asking the Kaminoians for an unaltered clone to raise (i.e - a foundling). Lucas is GOAT but he should've left that shyt alone.

Jango was clearly top dog in the Mando world at the time

Is season one worth finishing?
I’m in episode 4 and it seems like some high grade mid .

haven’t picked it back up in months

It’s not bad. The problem with it is that it’s episodic, but doesn’t really build towards anything until the final couple episodes. Feels like a space version of ‘Kung-Fu’ at times...but you sorta knew Caine’s mission. Don’t really have an idea of the Mandalorian’s goal. But it is very entertaining and definitely better than anything they’ve had on the big screen since ‘Rogue One’.

Never saw the big deal about Boba Fett personally. He always seemed like a jobber.
I think it kinda depends on your age. More than anything he had that "cool looking character" factor in a time when there just weren't as many visually appealing characters of that caliber on screen. I remember reading all my uncle's late 70's, early 80's comics as a kid and they would have the old Star Wars toys ads, and his toy just popped of the page because it looked so much doper than the others. Plus there was a whole air of mystery and badassery hovering about him too. Just doesn't have the same effect today or if you discovered him in the 90's:yeshrug:.

By that time you done seen so many crazy character designs that his shyt wouldn't even register, but back then that nikkas appearance was on some next level shyt. I was only like 7 or 8 when I first discovered him in them comics, but that nikka had an appearance that was unrivaled during the times of clunky designs. He actually looked futuristic and badass.
