Wiggins was the catalyst in them winning last year

The rest of the league wanted Wiggins to be an Alpha which he wasn’t

He knew that Wiggins, who was taken #1 overall but doesn’t have that dog mentality would fit in with the Warriors with his athleticism and defense while giving you 20

He knew Wiggins had talent and just needed to be in the right spot

And it worked to a Tee he gets credit for that move
