They knew those guys were juicing back in 1998 but they looked the other way because baseball had been in the dumps since the lockout and the homerun race was getting people excited and paying attention again. I was in high school then and i knew they were on something, so you know damn well the adults in the room knew too. They didnt care because it was putting butts in seats and eyes on the screen.
