What if Dunn wasn't there to kill Chalky and this was just a test to see if the bytch sold out? You know the Doctor wanted to sock her when he went to wake her ass in bed after that cane burning showso she kills Dunn and that would stop the real killer from showing up and finishing the job? The other guy would see a weak Chalky and shoot him on site like that.
Being a little bit of a a$$hole along the way is what makes a lot of people so successful.They don't take no shyt from no one.And don't give a fukk about no one except family.And if it got them that far why change.Some of the countrys most successful people are a little bit of a jerk.Plus men back then or even in my grandfather and great grandfathers era didn't show emotion and laugh and play around all the time.They had a certain image they had to maintain as the head of the family.I think the attitude chalky portrays is authentic to the times in the show.Chalky was a country boy that grew up hard scraping for everything he got.That's who he is.And when you've been thru and seen the things he has not even money can change you.I think he more so just feels relief than he does happiness.
some u cats stay lookin for every twist when they aint one, its pretty clear the chick took to chalky after his story about that song, dunn was clearly the cat sent to kill chalky. there is nothing more behind the curtain, this aint directed by m knight shalamalalkdkat w/e his name is lol

man i remember when this movie came out, us dominicans in NYC were going crazy how good of a job jeffrey wright did playing a dominican from washington heights...i know to most people he prolly just acted like a regular spanish cat..but his entire flow/demeanor/slang was straight up dominican from uptown...you wont catch a rican/cuban/colombian with that kind of swag at all,(we get confused and bunched up with them mf'ers all the time),, ask any dominican dude about "peoples hernandez" and they gon light up like
i think a year or 2 after this he played martin luther king in a hbo movie or someshyt, and he killed that 2..i been a fan of this dude for years..
on that note...i cant wait for tonight...i got a feeling its going to be epic

It's good to see Van Alden and Harrow back in the swing of things.
Everybody was simping this episode. Harrow, Van Alden, Nucky, Chalky.......everyone was being driven by the women in their lives.
at Nucky okaying the hit on Hoyle cause he couldn't compete with his mouth piece.
What I've learned about Boardwalk Empire during its fourth season is that Chalky White would have been a way more compelling lead protagonist than what Nucky Thompson currently is.

could def see that happening, gets in over his head and gets taken out. he doesnt seem as smart as he likes to think he is and at heart is just as egotistical as those he likes to shyt on.
