How many times has AR played people? Last year Lucky and Meyer, the brothers from Philly season 1 and left Nucky hanging last year. He played Joe Masseria selling him his own smack back at a profit. Yes he a lost a card game and now he spiraling out of control ?? ..

But ya, I don't know the W you refer to, but if you're right, I'd bet it has something to do with that Anaconda Realty Trust. He knew they were trying to scam him when Margaret walked in, yet he put 150k in it anyways. That trust probably controls the land Nucky's trying to buy. Joe sonned Lucky with regards to that deal, wouldn't be surprised to see AR son Meyer (and of course repay Nucky for cutting him out)

Still, I doubt he has anything to do with Patricia Arquette...he has no interest to protect with that shipment.

I agree with everything you said but to me its just too convenient writing wise. Remember, they never showed the end of that exchange with the agent and we know that the Fed investigation ultimately fails at this point in time. I predict a swerve here... Just sayin...

I think AR invested in the scam because he knows he has a inside woman in Margret. She will be how he is able to turn the scam to his advantage. They are both using fake names and AR called Margret to let it be known, you keep my secret I'll keep yours and let's both get some money from this.

that look eli has after that exchange between him and nucky seems like someone who did something wrong. i think he talked to those agents and when he walked into his house, saw his son his back and was not expecting that. perhaps he now has to find a way to quiet those agents before nucky finds out and its too late for him.

This season is making me an even bigger fan of Jeffrey Wright. I'm bout to go on a movie binge. Got Basquiat, Ride With the Devil, Shaft and Lackawanna Blues queued. Anyone know any other good films of his I should check out?

I can't see how Margaret can help him as an inside woman...she knows nothing and has no power. All she could do was hurt him.

I assumed AR was worried about her letting her boss know who he is, but now I think he was worried about her telling Nuck. I think @Francis White is right about him having a trick up his sleeve with regard to that Florida deal.

- The omen from Nucky to Chalky about getting his house in order & not letting a woman be such a distraction.
- Chalky setting it off in front of everybody, including the Dr. Interrupting his show, then burning his heroin (he probably kept the money lol)
- Daughter being in love with Chalky & vice versa, saving his life by taking out Dunn. That song he wanted her to sing, you could just feel it in the air. I knew that scene was going to be great & it didn't disappoint, for the most part. You could tell she was going to save Chalky once he couldn't get the best of Dunn.
- Sally is already getting on my nerves. Poor Mickey, I felt sorry for him. Had he clearly known Nucky was hitting that, he would have fell back. Took that cane to the face in front of everybody & did nothing. EVERY man has a breaking point, I think Mickey's will come one day.
- Eli being cornered by the feds. He told Nucky he didn't trust that agent after seeing the handkerchief. Now they got some dirt on him. I hope he doesn't snitch on his brother, I started to like Eli the past 2 seasons.
- AR losing money with gambling, heavily. I can't remember if they said $100K or $500K. If it's the latter, then that's over $6.6 million in todays money. Then he went & had cheesecake?! Makes you wonder how loaded was AR
