Torrio survives an assassination attempt two months after O'Banion is killed. Bugs Moran is one of those who takes part in it.

I missed some details.

I don't use spoiler tags, cuz I'm posting historical facts, and boardwalk empire is fiction, so I'm just speculating.

since dino banion gets murdered in real life, I figured they were headed that way anyways. and that raid was just the straw that broke the camel's back. also torrio telling al he's tired is just like real life, cuz after getting pinched in real life, he decides to turn over the chicago outfit to al capone. once that happens, he will become the most powerful gangster on the show.

Actually something else happens that ends up breaking Torrio causing him to hand everything to Capone.

the raid was significant but they brushed it over. scene was short and then he's like oh yea..kill him. i still like the show dont get me wrong.

I thought they handled the raid fine, but the lead you was lacking imo. All of a sudden Obannon's in a deal with Torrio with a Brewery and wants to sell.
