With Lansky & Luciano coming into their own in 1924, as he's saying in this clip....then we SHOULD be seeing some Bugsy sometime this season
He doesn't go that route for a few more years

Its a good show that should be fukking GOAT when you consider all the pieces they have in place. Its a B+ show bogged down by a mildly interesting lead character driving the majority of the shows narrative. This show would bewith Rothstein, Lansky etc as the central characters of the series.
Every season we go through this. Without Nucky being the central tie to a lot of these characters there is no Capone running Chicago. There is no power play for Lucky to take control on NYC. There isn't a Commision which is the name of the board that controls the Mafia across this country till TODAY. Nucky set up that infamous meeting in Upstate NY that exposes the existence of the Mafia by perchance. Yea Nucky is a simp sometimes. Yes Nucky isn't as guns go blam as the other guys, but he is a very very important piece to rise of organized crime across America.
Nucky was a crooked politician in the beginning lol I don't get why people think he should be like Capone . He's all about the money and power One he learned last season being a public figure is trouble he doesn't want that Capone breh ... Two he doesn't like to use violence for violence sake ALa Capone . He's not a sociopath or anything like tony soprano either . He's more go a crime boss than a gangster like people want him to be . His skill is his mind he's like Walter white in that regard .... I do hate the simping but even they taught him a lesson
You're a little inaccurate there. The meeting setup by Nucky was in Atlantic City. The one in NY that exposed the existence of the mob was a couple decades later & wasn't setup by Nucky.

basically wiriting off knucky's girlfriend from season 1, now writing out miss sccccrrrooder. turning van alden from religious freak to comedy relief
knucky isnt main charatcer material plain and simple. hes the glue that connects the actually important and interesting characters
B+ is the perfect rating for this show... this season is light years better than the last one. Had potential to be the GOAT is what makes it disappointing
They should've never killed off Jimmy. Jimmy organically connected the Al Capone, Lansky, and Luciano better then Nucky. Partly because he was there age and they were all on the come up. I love this show. But killing Jimmy was a mistake.

Jimmy was a bum to me and he is more Eddie than Capone to me. He was not capable of running a tight ship like Nucky does. He was always and forever mean to drive Nucky around town. The guy who plays him is like his mom on the show. A junkie who will most likely never be in a show or movie again.
