Your critique is in no way legitimate because no one is doing what you're saying, and even if we were, which we aren't, you wouldn't be able to tell us what the job description is because you don't know what we've been told. Yeah, but acri said this months ago and that's what I was saying we should be more open to other people's opinions, if not just to sharpen your stance against but to keep things fresh. I can't think of any other alternative. But I didn't even mean it in a debate way, I think this forum can have value even without discussion just because people have disparate interests and will post up articles about things I might not be prone to look for or from a source that I may have missed. I still think we can have an informative role. I was just looking for either @Kool G Rap's or TUH's science thread with all those videos to add to the upped thread, but I couldn't find it (as an example).

The podcast will never work until you get a team of people committed to it, that's why I titled 10 "somehow we got this far," I never would have imagined it.

Nice, nice. I think Brooklyn is great, honestly. I've gotten to live in a lot of places etc and really love Brooklyn. The thing people really love is the neighborhood vibe compared to Manhattan. I'm not sure what your background is but I love Crown Heights and Prospect Heights lots of Caribbean folks and young people. Lots of cool bars, and restaurants are opening and rent isn't crazy yet. Williamsburg isn't my thing everyone thinks they're on a movie set
I also enjoy Carrol Gardens, Park Slope, Brooklyn Heights but it is very white. DUMBO is really cool but it's dumb money. I've been working on setting up our new "family home" in Brooklyn so I'm in it for the long haul. Yeah, I'm down with that. I doubt I'll be there that long term. I can't imagine myself being anywhere long term right now. I'll go where the job takes me. Still want to work and live abroad at some point (almost did end up working in London). But it sounds legit to me. I just imagine that it'd be a bytch for when I go and party and club in NYC to get back to. I can imagine that taxi being crazy expensive or that subway ride taking forever. Being very white doesn't mean anything to me at this point, I've gotten accustomed to that since college.

Cool, yeah I'm really the same but like to have a headquarters somewhere and I make most my guap off real estate. London is chill just a heads up as I'm sure you know the cost is outlandish. I met two guys who practiced law in London, corporate, and they still have to live with a bunch of people due to the cost like they were in college. I've got a lot of friends and fam there. The city really wears on people. I think unless you grew up in London and have old money/assets there its untenable. I'll get back to you on the rest, need to hit the bars before they close.

HL need to attract new posters by posting news articles and stay away from useless debates. I fully agree with what you are saying and although I believe I'm fairly unknown on this forum, I try to have an input on different conversations.

I dunno, seems like any thread that's not about gays/religion/conspiracies/Obama either goes triple wood, turns into a trollfest, gets derailed into two people e-beefing, or somehow ends up being about gays/religion/conspiracies/Obama anyway. Not too long ago I attempted a thread about some recent findings in cosmology and it STILL ended up devolving into people arguing about religion. 
I'm kind of at a point where I'm not too motivated to post topics. IMO it might be beneficial if we were a little less tolerant of trolling/aliases than we are. Just my two cent.
