I can't stand idiots like that. I'm not wishing death on anyone, but I don't feel bad for anyone like them when something like that happens. And, before someone says it was a closed road, these same morons still drive in an extremely reckless manner on open highways and normal residential streets.

I'm not sure why everyone is saying take it to the track. You can die on a track too. The road was closed, there was no civilians there. I'm pretty sure this was new york where there's probably not many drag strips.
I'll agree he would have probably been alive on the track, but lets not make this a case of him putting innocents in danger.

High speed racing on drag slicks on an untreated surface in a 1400 horsepower car with no rollcage or even a seatbelt/racing harness… this was bound to happen. RIP to the young man regardless.
