Or he's just being honest :rudy:
He was hired to give a player's perspective, seems he's doing just that.

Marshall didn't address it like Michelle Beadle, he addressed it like a guy who's been in Hardy's position who had to mature and take responsibility for his own role in what was happening in his life despite any unfair treatment he received from the media and the league.

I don't see how anyone who heard or read Hardy's comments leading up to the New England game can disagree with Marshall here.
I think what you and the media are missing is that he doesn't give a fukk, and the more you push back the harder he's gonna :troll:

I personally dont care what he does. He served his suspension, :camby: with all that pc crap

"I dont think he learned his lesson"

What is that even supposed to mean?

Hes just giving media talking heads fuel to pour onto the fire with this IMO

First off we need to stop acting like the media needs anything (including facts, logic, reality, or consistency) to fuel the fire of their bullshyt. They made this into a huge overblown story for two days before Marshall uttered a word so once again lets not behave like them and make this bigger and more significant than it is.

Secondly, Marshall has been in Hardy's shoes before. He likely recognizes some things in him that he saw in himself once upon a time. I didn't see shytting as much as I saw him expressing concern. I didn't see the segment so I can't account for his tone and body language but based upon what I read there is no way you can compare what he said to what Beadle said. You can see the 'string him up" in Beadle's eyes and body language and in her weak attempts to justify her bullshyt. She wants dude out. Marshall sounds like he wants dude to get help and get better.

I just dont see how his past connects to getting fired up on the sidelines

We see that shyt every week, do we even know what Hardy said?

You say his past as if we're talking about something that happened years ago. He's been back two weeks, and had newsworthy incidents each week.

Sure, the sideline spat is being overblown, but Marshall's assessment that Hardy seems to not be aware (or doesn't care) that he's under a microscope is completely accurate.

I made that connection because I see everyone trying to connect his past to a dust up on the sidelines. I dont see the connection there

when you sign that broadcasting contract you agree to sell your dignity and other morals you hold. Throwing another brotha under the bus is what I have a problem with here, but he done signed dem contracts so what can I expect from him. That aint Marshall anymore that's ESPN...puppet

I read it like he threw him under the bus a bit here, I dunno :yeshrug:

Dude is taking hits from every media outlet and talking head, I thought BMarsh threw more fuel on the fire, and coming for an active player, its something the media can latch onto. It helps justify what they're saying when a current player backs them up

Weren't they saying the same thing about Marshall when he kept screwing up? He gets some pats on the head now and suddenly he is brand new. :martin:

It's obvious that Hardy has some undiagnosed mental issues going on so Marshall should be the last person trying to rip him apart. And this overreaction to this basic sideline incident really needs to be dropped. :camby:

Slapping a clipboard out of a coaches hand is getting fired up now? :martin: You don't see how his temper problems relate to his past :martin:
I don't care about him screaming on coaches or the Cowboys as a matter of fact but it's funny seeing everyone charged up about this but not this
Audio of Jim McElwain’s sideline tirade on player (NSFW)
or this
Vanderbilt's Kevin Stallings apologizes for telling player 'I'll kill you'
or this

Hell it even happened this weekend with my Noles. O-line coach shoved the starting QB out the way. Plain as day. And it wasn't on some old "excuse me" type of shove. Announcers acted like it never happened.

Lotta dishonesty in a lot of these folks anger cause if any of the above players responded in kind whether with words or fists, these same folks would be crying about respecting authority.

I don't think he cares how people see him. Whether he was found guilty/not guilty, folks would still look at him as an abuser. It's funny cause no one was talking about his case until the appeal fell thru. Is this the only off field trouble he's had because folks are going hard on him like he's OJ or some shyt
He's had some other minor off the field incidents in Carolina (motorcycle accident injuring himself which lowered his draft stock, doing questionable stupid shyt like taking selfies while driving at high speeds) but much wasn't made light of it because Carolina is a small-market. This case was only talked about once that second Ray Rice video dropped and ESPN came around demanding he be benched. Breh isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, he does need some help. But I don't understand why people expect football players to be the moral compass of this country

He's not wrong. Hardy doesn't deserve to be crucified for blowing up on the sidelines, at the same time someone who knows their situation should TRY to be a little more LowKey.

It's like having an office job and you were accused of in workplace harassment of a female. Everything might be unfairly blown out of proportion after that. And your boss/organization might make a big deal out of minor shyt. But you should still be aware of your situation and you should understand that MAYBE you shouldn't have told the secretary " I got some cream for your coffee baby :shaq:" after what happened before.

It's not a big deal, but you should still care about your position enough not to do it. He shouldn't have people make a big deal about the small things he does, but knowing what you just got out of, he should want to be LowKey.

I get that, and I don't really give a shyt about Hardy, the point is that Marshall does care and speaks from a position few others can (not journalists, not fans on a messageboard).
