It's a good movie but wasn't what it was hyped up to be. But it gets points for being shot in Virginia

I saw this in theater back in May, I liked it. Nice cinematography, but was more striking was the casual violence, and darkly comedic tone throughout, theme of the hopelessness of revenge and vengeance. Wasn't as striking or impactful as I would have liked, but a good watch, regardless. The early scenes with the crossbow were great, very tense, and good at conveying the way violence seeps into our lives and changes us. I liked the odd rekindled relationship between him and his high school friend too, moving and caring, kind of the weight that those friendships can have, and the banality of everyday life for the people who we forget about.

Not saying its great. Its a slow burn revenge flick.

I think Green Room is more rewatchable, but I think I liked this a bit more.
