People tryna attack Gunn in here lol. If Superman has a good trailer and then it's followed by good reviews, people are going to the theater to watch it.

Anything else is wishing thinking by MCU stans who are upset their universe fell apart after Endgame. shyts weird. Lol

Y'all should be thanking Gunn. He put out the only good Marvel movie in a minute.
Those are some big IFs tho my guy. Gunn getting some unnecessary hate. The DC movies needed a reboot a full reboot would have been better possibly but it should have happened a while ago

Yeah so with ancillaries it will probably end up turning a slight profit or at least break even. People were too quick to call it a money loser. Lol.

But that's what "usual suspects" do when the MCU is having a rough year they come into these threads :mjlol:
You need to triple your budget to break even... This ain't that

No you don't. The old idea was that you need to double the budget but in many instances it's really 1.5 because major studios have been known to get 55%-60% of the take depending. That's the theater run. Then they make more money on digital/blu ray and TV deals.

Yea... It hasn't gone down.. it's gone UP

The typical break-even point is around 2.5x the budget of the movie.

nothing to brag about that nobody is willing to pay full price to watch your movie.

But from what I have heard it followed the typical super hero movie that used to make bank years ago. If this came out when hype was high I would have done numbers. It just came out at the wrong time

That article didn't factor in anything. This article breaks it down more. I see MCU stans are still all ears and eyes in here :lolbron:

I’m a comic stan

Or do you think I missed all the DC movies out of loyalty to a company not paying me? DC JUST fell off on this run. Before this they were iconic. Don’t blame me for pointing that out
