with the assets and young talent they had, for them to be out of assets and this is what we are rolling with long term is an absolute miss

We had all those draft picks, at times the kings and grizzlies picks had crazy value and we waited them both out and their value went to nothing

If Danny would have at least cashed out and gone after the player they supposedly wanted in the draft we’d have either haliburton or hero right now

We can end up being a top 2 or 3 seed and going to the conference finals again but at the end of the day we are a championship or bust city and Danny had plenty of opportunity to turn this into a long term championship contender and whiffed

Having a couple players on the bench who need to develop to become contributors is perfectly fine. But when that's damn near everyone on your bench, that's a major issue, especially when it's a team that is going on deep playoff runs. Literally everyone on the bench minus Teague & TT is still on their rookie contract.

Arguably the biggest issue with this team last season was the lack of depth due to having an inexperienced and unproductive bench, and we still have the same issue.

I'm gonna wait until after the season until I judge. Playoff run was looking good until the C's ran into the Heat zone D. Lack of experience against that did them in not lack of bench. Shorten rotation is expected in the playoffs.

right, so instead of building around them the right way he tried to do this half rebuild half contending strategy and now it left him with a lot of question marks on our bench

we need 3 of Romeo nesmith timelord grant and Pritchard to make big leaps this year or we will be in trouble

They struggled with the zone against Toronto too, that was a big reason why they were able to make it a 7 game series despite 3 of their starters playing like trash. Miami just took what they saw the Raptors have success with and leaned into it even more.

Me personally, anything less than Finals appearance and I think it's an unsuccessful season. If they go out in the 1st or 2nd round they took a step back, and if they make it to the ECF again and lose they're stagnant. If year-to-year progression is the goal, then they need to do better than they did the previous season. And the dilemma is, right now I don't think we have a roster constructed to make a Finals run, especially now that we have deal with the Nets.

Brad should never let Marcus Smart be the primary ballhandler the last 10 minutes of the game. Almost cost the Celtics to lose until Teague came back in

Can’t get my hopes up on Teague I thought he was washed but if you include the preseason he’s been our best player
