Disappointed we didn’t make a trade at the deadline. At this point our upcoming picks are middle of the first round and up and the majority of those usually end up in the G-League. Time for Danny to start unloading those at some point.

For me, once Celtics were dead set on not trading Hayward for another star, I felt there wasn't many moves to make
1 thing I will say is that the players the Sixers just got from the Warriors... would have loved to have them. They were on cheap salaries and contribute to the bench right now
Celtics could have waived Carsen Edwards and Tremont Waters to open up a roster space
And the good thing is I think Kemba is completely ok with Tatum being the #1 guy
He has no choice but to consolidate the picks because we don’t have the roster space to accommodate four rookies.
As it stands we have 9 guaranteed contracts for next season. That number could grow to 11 since Hayward & Kanter have played options. Then Theis, Ojeleye & Green all have non-guaranteed deals (And Ainge is keeping the first two). Wanamaker is the only straight up FA.
I would’ve given those 2 First rounders to Washington for Davis Bertans and just waive one of the two guys mentioned above. You can only have so many rookies that barely see any playing time.

The only thing I can think of is that Danny is waiting for a better trade in the offseason and wants those rookies as trade bait
Not sure, but I think Bertans' contract ends this season, so Danny was scared he'd be an expensive rental
