The reality is that of over half a million stops in 2012, people of color made up 87 percent. The year prior, 168,126 black men ages 14 to 24 were stopped and frisked, although only 158,406 young black men lived in the city — that's 106 percent of the population. And as City Councilman Brad Lander noted today, "Math for @MikeBloomberg: Of those stopped, 58% of blacks & Latinos were frisked. Only 44% of whites. But whites have guns twice as often."

i'll take it a step further. something me and the wife were discussing. sorry latino familia. the truth about these stats are that they use the words black and brown or AA's and latinos. to cover up the real situation at hand. its mostly blacks getting this treatment. notice they start off talking about both. then they throw out an AA stat. but they dont want you to realize YES the white man is still hate'n on a brotha like it was 1950.

they are not just hate n on all ethnic groups. they are more so hatin on black folks. because those white folks have a special disdain for black people. not latins. but black people.
