one of my favorite movies till today

so many classic scenes

- the african jungle nikka flippin around...my little cousin used to do a spot on impression

- when bolo threw his hands in the air after a win and started jumping around in the air with his hands up

- the dirty chinese floor mopper who picked up the gold tooth

it took me about 20 watches to realize bolo had killed dux's teacher's son
:wow:my childhood
have not watched this movie in years, but your description of the floor mopper immediately took me back:mjgrin:
might just have to watch it tonight.
i even remember that song with the 'kumite' chant in it !!
:wow:classic!!

One of the greatest scenes from one of the greatest enigmas to ever grace the screen. He even has his own fan page. And his story ... well ... his story is just as incredible as his acting:

The life of Pierre Rafini;

Pierre Rafini was born in Marseille, France in 1972 to an under-privileged family of gypsies. His father, Jean-Paul, a naturally gifted sprinter, was accused of treason by the local gypsy government and was banished from the community whilst Pierre was at the age of 11. This left Pierre as the sole provider for his nine sisters and his Mongolian mother Inka, whom Jean-Paul had bought for a carton of goats milk and six pigeon eggs. It was during this difficult time that Pierre discovered his natural ability for acting - he often pretended to be a mongoloid, walking around with a fake limp and talking like a retard to earn petty cash off the richer gypsy families. Although Pierre was earning enough money for his family by acting, this infuriated his mother since she was an actual mongoloid. Pierre was kicked out of home at the age of 13, and traveled to Spain with his friend Fabrizio where he worked at a restaurant. It was in the summer of 86' when Fabrizio won tickets in a poker game for a cruise-ship that was headed to the United States of America. The voyage was long, and without much money to feed both boys, Pierre was once again forced to use his acting skills to survive. It was during this time that he truly developed his great acting ability - he spent the entire two weeks on board acting as the Mongoloid, earning money off the richer travelers. Later reports suggest that Fabrizio had "forgotten who he (Pierre) was" after the trip, often hearing Pierre speak like the mongoloid when nobody was around. Their relationship once they arrived in the US was at breaking point; Pierre accused Fabrizio of not contributing financially, whilst Fabrizio took credit for providing both boys with a new life in the land of opportunity. A year later Fabrizio disappeared, he was believed to be living under an alias name in Albania with a wife who was reported to be "suspiciously similar" to Pierres Mongolian mum, Inka. No further reports have been released that state his current whereabouts.

Pierre lived and worked in Richmond, Viriginia during the winter of 1986. He earned good money by acting as the mongoloid in comedic roles, performing in small theaters and city streets. It was in late 1986 when his natural gift for acting was recognized by a local movie director, who referred him to some contacts in Hollywood. He was then approached by Newt Arnold, a well established movie director who was interested in Pierres acting, and offered him a role as "Young Frank" in his last ever film, "Bloodsport", starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. The movie wasn't well received, however it provided Pierre with a platform for showing his natural talent as the mongoloid. After the movie was released, Pierre was approached by many directors who were all keen to get him into their scripts, and offered large sums of money. Some say that this caused young Pierre to spiral out of control - the immediate stardom after Bloodsport meant that Pierre was thrown into a world of drugs, sex and living hard. Like most gifted child actors, Pierre spent the next three years in darkness - he was a heavy drug abuser and was often seen spending all his earnings from Bloodsport on gambling and women.

It was in the winter of 1991, at the age of 18 when Pierre was reportably found in a "drunken and disoriented" state in a alleyway. The story goes that Pierre, out of his mind, stumbled down the road where he walked past a window of a local electronics goods shop. A TV that was for sale in the window was playing a Jean-Claude Van Damme movie marathon series. It was at this moment that Pierre saw himself on TV as Young Frank, acting as the mongoloid. He was immediately ashamed of himself, having taken advantage of peoples sympathy towards him and also for disrespecting his mongoloid mum. He then travelled to New York to start a new life for himself, however he found it difficult to fit in with society now that he was determined to never act as "Young Frank", aka the Mongoloid, again. He found a temporary residency in Central Park, Manhattan, living with other gypsy folk. Shunned from society, however still harvesting his desire for entertaining, he developed a strange connection to wildlife, especially the pidgeon. He was later quoted as believing to have the ability to talk to the pidgeons, however bystanders claim that the sounds he made were nothing more than loud groans and high pitched whimpers. He spent the next 20 years of his life in Central Park, spending his days feeding his birds and hiding from society. It was in the Summer of 2012 when Pierre's life took an interesting turn. He was tracked down by Mongolian royalty, and identified as being the last living heir to the throne of the Chengzong dynasty. It was discovered that his mother Inka was in fact a Mongolian princess, and unbeknownst to her was abandoned by her family when she was born due to her disabilities. In 2011, Inka and all nine daughters contracted a severe case of bird flu believed to have come from rancid pidgeon eggs, and died only months later. This left Pierre as the sole heir to the wealth of the Chengzong dynasty, and he returned to Ulan Bator, Mongolia in early 2013 where he still resides today. He is rumored to be living an extravagant lifestyle and is believed to be currently dating Hollywood actress Lucy Liu.
