Portnoy's comment was undermining Diggs's impact in Buffalo.
Since he left Minnesota, the Vikings have only made one playoff appearance in four seasons (winning only one game).

AFC gauntlet, whatever issue Diggs had in Buffalo I doubt it had to do with Josh Allen and more to do with the offensive scheme.

The narrative in TheColi is that WR1s don't matter, and QBs can handle winning-win game
Which is false.

Mahomes, Lamar, and Allen are the only 3. And there's a wide margin between Mahomes and the other 2.
Personally tired of y'all Joe Burrow in that tier, when he's the only one with 2 WR1s
You just proved my point without realizing it.

It's disingenuous and unfair to use that against Burrows considering that 1. That team was shytty for years and how they ended up with as high of picks as they did and 2. There were 31 other teams who had the chance to take Higgins including the Chiefs and Ravens yet passed on the chance to do so.

I'm not so sure about this. Diggs sometimes can come off as a complainer/diva type if he doesn't get his targets. I don't know if I want that type of receiver around a Young quarterback
Is there a trade clause in this new contract? He could easily get sent back packing for some defensive assets or picks.

I'm using the same metric to hold those 3 QBs I mentioned above the rest.
It's my personal rankings; you or anyone else does not have to agree.
If you wanna use a team franchise record prior to the QB starting, draft pick, and placement, that's your prerogative.

No, there is no clause, we had the best offer hence why the Bills were ok sending him to a conference competitor.
Diggs motivation is that this is his last guaranteed year with 4 total years remaining. He fukks up, we cut him with no cap hit, he does great and we extend him a few more years. Simple.

Which is false.

What are you blabbing about :wtf: . Who said you don’t need a WR1??? I hate when nggas randomly be like ‘yea everybody talking bout…’. Bruh, NOBODY is talking about that. Mahomes is the only one that can just roll with no names at WR. Lamar is an asterisk bc of his run ability. Everyone else needs and mostly has WR1s. So what are you talking about??

I don't think Stef is gonna be a problem in Houston because it wasn't about the numbers or the money in Buffalo. It was about the culmination of them not getting over the hump between the AFCCG loss, 13 seconds loss and Cincinnati embarrassing them. Breh was over it and that's his prerogative.

Even if he's not quite the same player as long as he's a reliable vet it's worth the swing for Houston with a young QB and young WRs, combined with their Minnesota trade all they had to do to acquire him was move back 20 spots from #23.

The Bills threw away their Superbowl chances.

They're betting all their money on Josh Allen being the difference.

Unless they struck gold with a closet breakout star WR or two in the draft then Buffalo's offense is going to look scary and not in a good way.
This draft is pretty deep with WR prospects

I see him complaining in 2026 and his goofy ass brother running on social media to hate on Houston coaches
That happens he gets cut and we don’t have a cap hit. Outside of this season his contract isn’t guaranteed.
