I am shocked he actually had a big playoff game NGL. But without Jimmy Warriors defense specially on perimeter is food. Problem wit Jalen has always been consistency tho we know if the trey ball on he can go off but lets see how rest of the series go.

I don’t think it’s inconsistency as much as it is the Rockets having many scoring options
im more impressed he pushed through with that performance -after the game 1 feedback from every news outlet

udoka was playin chess in game 1 - he could have easily sat him the whole 4th , but brought him back in , rollin the dice knowin either he heats up for us NOW , but even if he doesnt we dont kill his confidence for the rest of the series by sittin him whole 4th )
if he is runnin around after this game with the same menatlity he had the 2nd half of this game -then warriors are in trouble

Guys like Amen and Tari get a lot of scorin done off defense and forcin turnovers, gettin out transition. They not really scorin options. It's really only Sengun and Fred that they go to in half court besides Jalen. Brooks here and there for the odd postup his 3s are created for him but he they 3rd/4th guy like he was on those Memphis squads behind Ja, JJJ, Bane yet Ja was still averagin 25-27 PPG on those teams that had a similar structure to Houston now. Jalen still only bein a 20/21 PPG scorer on middlin efficiency when scorin all he asked to do really wit how much defense and reboundin they got round him and him being weak link in their defense that's hunted yet he still can't show consistency in those high level scorin bursts don't speak to scorin options round em.

I don’t think ppl realize the work ethic he has. Kenyon Martin, KJ, Ime, Arenas, hell even JohnWall, who I know isn’t Jalen’s biggest fan because of the whole Houston fiasco, has said behind the scenes dude puts in the work like no other. His jump shot will probably always be streaky like it has but as long as he can keep it consistently at that 36% and higher from 3 at high volume, he’ll be ok.
Was never worried about handing but the other things I his game. GSW was trapping Jalen hard last night off the picks and he did t let it beat him. He used to pick up his dribble and the go fade into the corner out of the possession. Now he’s beating those traps and making the right reads to find the open man off the 4 on3 advantage
