His Shot selection is improving so fast. When he’s not hitting from 3, he puts his head down and gets to the FT line.I’m regards to the 3 pt shot, I think because of his frame, teams are guarding him very close at the line and forcing him to drive. They would rather he attacks the rim and gets his points the hard way given his frame and age. He’s keeping them honest with the midrange.
I read some hosuton fans talking about he should mirror his shot selections to Harden’s. Please don’t do that. Harden was Harden but the whole abandoning hai midrange was Overkill. If you can create the space and hit from that distance, shoot the middy.

A lil off topic but the best move Stone made to help slows up Jalen development was trading away Christian Wood. Wood is a good player but he was a progress stopper for these young rockets. As much as we get on Gordon he at least stays out the way and plays within the offense and realm of the youngest development. Wood didn’t care. He was bad in the locker room. He was the one that started all that mess the night KPJ walked out at halftime. there’s a reason that Kidd keeps him on leash by bringing him off the bench. Stone I think sees the big picture. Tate isn’t that hurt where he can’t play. They obviously want to trade Gordon before bringing him back.

I'm starting to feel my preseason vibes when I thought this team could win 30-35 games possibly & challenge for a Play-In spot.

I'm not optimistic on landing the #1 pick. Rockets have been the worst team 2 straights seasons and ended up with #2 & #3 respectively.
It's time to turn the corner for this team and stop with the "we're young" or "wait until next year" mentality. They are beating good teams now. It's time for the killer instinct and let's go get it mentality to kick in. I trust Stone's scouting. They are going to get a player wherever they draft in the first round that's one thing Stone has proven.
maybe it's time to have the 3rd worse record and end up with the #1. i don't want us to be abject losers. i like that signs that i'm seeing from jalen that he's not a loser with empty stats and his productivity directly correlates with wins and losses. i also want us to be an elite team and that trumps all for me, so i'm all aboard the wemby train.
