@Gil Scott-Heroin I told you he gon make you eat those words.
I thought Jalen didn't even play well last night but after the game I look at the box score and see 25 pts on 9-16 with 4-8 from deep just imagine when he really starts clicking.
I watched half that game...I still don't like his fit w/ KPJ bc he looks for his own shot first instead of feeding Jalen
If Jalen played with a real PG, no doubt in my mind he could avg 25-27 this season 45% shooting
They threw Jalen timebombs with the shot clock winding down expecting him to create
I also like how Jalen is taking on defensive challenges this season...saw him defending Clarkson & Morant
I was always high on him but I think his ceiling is athletic Devin Booker...if he was 6'6, he'd be a future top 3 player imo
KPJ just means the most to Silas. There was a interview after the game where he said KPj needs to have the ball. He said that KPj plays off the ball more than he needs to. Silas isn’t the coach of the future for this team. It’s one thing to be financially invested in a player but this staff is overly emotionally invested in KPJ. It’s bothersome. At the end of games we’re stuck with KPJ and Gordon ISO’s. The best thing about last night was seeing Jabari close the game for usKPJ is gonna always have you scratching your head. And KPJ seems to always start dominating the ball once Jalen gets to cooking.
That's why Silas needs to establish some kind of structure in the offense because you can't leave 19-22 year olds to their own devices because they're only thinking about getting theirs.

I don’t know but you see the interviews and it’s obvious KPj means a lot to SilasWhy the love affair with KPJ? He’s done nothing in this league….nor did they draft him.
If Jalen is who we think he is they need to be doing everything to keep him happy and the focal point of the team. He obviously has the work ethic so he doesn't need to be motivated by having to earn his spot. Teams will be offering him the world, so he doesn't need any seeds of doubt. I get the sense Zion isn't all the way invested right now and I wouldn't be surprised if some of that turmoil between him and the pelicans was real. This is a superstar's league and Jalen is headed towards that, so they better wake up and treat him like it.KPJ just means the most to Silas. There wa a white after the game. They do treat him like it. It was KPJ who was openly recruiting Green over Cade and Mobley before and after the draft lottery last year. Remember they got to play against each together in the gleague and build a relationship. Greens work ethic is publicized but KPj is right there. Dude stays working on his game in the background. He’s more of a prolific shooter from the perimeter than Green is currently. His catch and shoot number were elite last year and they’ve been even bette this season .If Jalen is who we think he is they need to be doing everything to keep him happy and the focal point of the team.
