On a related note: Cade and Jalen together would be a pretty dope backcourt. Let Cade run the show and Jalen can focus primarily on scoring.
In a perfect world we get one of Portland's potential lottery picks for Grant, Sharp declares, and we pick him up with that second lotto pick. I'd love to see the Pistons come away with a combination of a strong defensive presence, wing scoring, and perimeter shooting to add to the foundation.

Olympics/FIBA and international competition absolutely getting wrecked in 2024 and 2028.

shyt the FIBA highlights with them and Suggs were insane. They were beating teams by 70+.

This is the one year where I was hoping we'd see Rookies vs Sophomores during All-Star weekend. I legit think the rookies would have won.

Favorite draft pick of the last few years.

Dude is going to be phenomenal.

So many things he does from this game alone reminds me of a tall Kyrie with his finishing and how slippery he is:

But then dude can throw it right over the top like Ja.

Not to mention an insane shooter who broke Trae Young's rookie 3 point mark for the season this game.

If that's not enough dude is really nice and effective off-ball:

Straight-up bag and a match-up problem.

It's gonna be up to him how high his ceiling can reach...he has to learn from the greats, add to his game each summer, get stronger, and just know the ebbs and flows of the game more instinctively

Offensively, he has the highest ceiling in the 21 draft class, and I've been adamant about that since pre-draft

The way he ended this season is how he has to begin next season...he knows what it takes to be good, and now he's gotta strive to be great

40 piece…he’s the next special 2 guard.

@Gil Scott-Heroin I always get the last laugh
Where the wins at though? Every time you tag me, the Rockets always lose. Them flashy numbers gonna have to lead to wins or else you know what folks will say, right? And it’s still Cade >.

:hubie:

I’ll be getting the last laugh when Embiid and Wiggins fall in the playoffs.

Come on, wins and losses, for a rookie?

Remember that one rookie who lead their team to a 20-62 record (2nd worst record in the league).
Next season they had the 4th worst record in the league: 23-59 the next year.

That season they had multiple 11 game losing streaks, a 13 game losing streak and a 15 game losing streak.
At one point they were 1-23 over a stretch.

A lot of folks said he was too skinny to play defense and he couldn't shoot - less than 30% from 3 in fact.
Similar to Jalen, finished his rookie season with a -7.9 +/- while Jalen has a -7.7.
