i was just telling my homie yesterday that Blank Face is right up there with TPAB, Q definitely delivered with this project

as far as which one is better not enough time has passed to make that call yet, they are both great albums and different from each other

Yup, that's my complaint. This thread is on some bitter, mean shyt. And more than that its tired and hackneyed. I mean who didn't know someone was going to use BFLP (which is crazy dope) to start shytting on TPAB all over again. As if we don't know that its a divisive album. Like I said, do we really have to do this again fam? Is this adding anything to anything?

Blank Face is the album Jay Rock shoulda made a long time ago.

I like rock and he can rap just as good as anyone else in black hippy but I don't think he's creative enough, I don't think he'll ever put out anything that isn't a straight forward rap album.

I loved Section 80 and Setbacks, GKMC and Habits & Contradictions, Oxymoron and TPAB, untitled/unmastered and Blank Face.

I'm well rounded like that

I cut Blank Face off after Know You're Wrong, and maybe I can stretch it to Whateveuwant.
It's too long and doesn't vary enough after Know You're Wrong imo (up until then it's one of my favorite albums of the year and one of my favorite song runs of all time).
I'll take Butterfly over it anytime.

Better than Section.80? Hell no.

It's not even Qs best. Habits and Contradictions is miles ahead of Blank Face.

Basically it's the album someone on TDE should have released in 2013. Jay Rock or Q. Right off the coat tails of GKMC, similar story but from a gangsta perspective...this is what a good label would have dropped back then. Instead TDE didn't do much of anything that year iirc lol...
