Also absolutely nothing wrong with being biracial, there are tons of great biracial people who have done great things to push us forward as a people and they have my respect.

So none of my statements are to degrade, demean or disrespect biracials people cause I'm sure being biracial comes with it's own set of complication . And they are an should be accept on both sides of there nda.

I said this in the other thread.. I think the actual title of the show, #BlackAF, is the actual problem here. I watched the entire season, enjoyed a nice percentage of it, and definitely want to see what they do with a 2nd season. Not saying you can't show super rich light skinned black folks but maybe you call this "The Kenya Barris Show", "The Wood to Hollywood", or #RichAF or whatever. But if you call something #BlackAF you gotta include a lot of of other shyt to get like different social economic groups, maybe some darker shades, more set locations, etc. to get away with a title like that. Not saying you have to go full "hood" but there's probably not that much criticism if the show is named differently. If this is your story and your life then title it accordingly. I know you're trying to make a splash but don't give it an umbrella title if its a personal project.

I think the AF let's you know it is a joke. The big joke of the show is the Dad is try hard with his Blackness. So while he thinks he's #BlackAF he really isn't.

you know I’ve always maintained that mixed people are black but I ain’t gone lie, hearing Rashida say she was the first BLACK woman to counsel for Justice Ginsberg did make me cringe a bit. Especially since she can pass for white and has done so in previous roles.

I’ve only finished episode 1. And it was a bit of a slog. I didn’t like his general indifference to his kids at times. I could see myself being that way. When his son was whining about his bday he was just looking at that dude like :unimpressed:
