um im not getting that picture.
it can be difficult to wear your hair nappy when its not really the standard of beauty. Sheryl isn't lying when she said no one really buys afro weave. The funny thing is, a lot of black women may not say it openly like Sheryl did but I suspect a lot must feel the same type of way about their own hair, but don't go as far as to publicize at least not openly as she did. Your actions speak louder than words.
You can tell she is another Black entertainer who has deep insecurity issues that they haven't been able to get rid of even in becoming rich. It manifests itself whenever they have to confront Blackness. I view her as the Wesley Snipes/Dennis Rodman type now.
Most of these celebrities and shyt wouldn't really be down for a true black-empowerment movement...it would force them to take a stand and lose a lot of white support. I remember reading how James Brown lost a LOT of fans and left a LOT of money on the table just for saying "I'm black and I'm proud".
All these dudes, Stephen A, athletes, most of the actors and actresses...they just wanna have a nice home in LA somewhere and go to wine tastings with their white liberal friends.
Well is she lying? Who else has such hideous hair? Even black Indians and domincans have "good hair", not that knotty peasy shyt than Africans and African Americans have. It's gross.
I was about to get upset but if the bold isn't true I don't know what is. Mixed chicks stay on the natural hair tip.
There are a BUNCH of racist cacs on this forum now. I'm not sure if it's just The Coli's natural growth, one loser with many aliases, or some sort of uniform effort by a group of people, but the shyt is becoming fukking annoying. How is this fakkit cracker not banned yet?
