Same, it used to bother me when I was younger, after awhile I brushed it off as women who made those comments had no interest in me. Went after the ones that did.

Often they'll call those kinds of women ugly, masculine and just generally unattractive.
I think y'all overestimate how much of a shot these types even have with these dudes
or if they even match the tastes of those kinds of cats.
They're more likely to be with an Asian or White woman than the type of Black woman who might
not date someone well established (black, white or otherwise).
Trust statements like that come from a place of insecurity and feeling they're not ON YOUR LEVEL.
And usually when they say it, they know it.

But on both ends, I’d say this happens when encountering black folks who aren’t from the burbs/well-to-do backgrounds.
Their female equivalent gets asked if she “only dates white guys” because of the way she talks
I had someone once mock me in a group setting because I attended private school, but he was the only one laughing.
The environments I grew up in made him uncomfortable, but to everyone else common sense said “I mean, if you can afford to put your kid in private school, why not”?
