Native Canadians. They are still here (they didn't just disappear...so not sure what you mean about "why aren't they there now" where exactly do you think they went??) and a lot of them live in some of the worst conditions and suffer extreme poverty. Child abuse, alcoholism and rape are very common on reserves. Many people don't even have basic electricity. I'm very familiar with what has happened in history and what is going on today.

And who did it. And did those people look like you?

And would you agree, that because of this....you've been able to live a pretty swell life?

So all people that "look a certain way" must have the exact same mindset or history? Broaden your horizons. In that case, ALL men are the exact same, all women are the exact same...because they all have the same anatomy.

The one unified thing that white people share is the fact that we are white and that society is designed under a "white privilege" mindset.

Italians are very culturally different from Swedes, for example...just like someone from Ethiopia will have different cultural customs than someone who grew up in Jamaica.

With that said, the history of my ancestors is very different to that of British people. Macedonia and Bulgaria were ruled under the Ottoman Empire for over 500 years...Christianity was banned and Islam was enforced. Women were raped, children were killed. You do realize that almost every society has experienced something similar, right? America is a VERY new country. This kind of stuff has been happening for MANYYYY years, before anyone ever settled in America. Sure, "certain" white people were the oppressors.

Also, consider the Holocaust...so many Jewish people were completely displaced, too. They were burned alive. Children were separated from their parents.

If you're willing to take responsibility for the actions of every single black person, that's great. Personally, I can't take responsibility for the actions of others that I had/have no control over...especially actions I don't agree with.
