Not really, young man. You see, there are a helluva lot more whites in America than blacks. Which means naturally, there are a helluva lot more poorer whites than blacks. Only difference is, well-off whites RARELY talk about poor-ass whites.

63% White persons not of Hispanic decent.
16.7% Hispanic.
13.1% Black.
7% Other.

While black males have a higher percentage of AA men in college, that doesn't me there are more AA men in college than white men. The white men number just seem low because there make up a much larger percentage of the US population.

From that make up, I'm pretty sure you can see the rest of the picture since you're a programming guy (I don't feel like typing anymore). Oh, and yea, some of them are trust-fund babies, but most aren't.
