Can't condemn the kid. He's 14, not 24. He understands the law, but we can't expect a 14 year old to rationalize why he can't stop his mother from being manhandled, even if she was in the wrong. He saw his mother in a compromising position and did what any kid would do. It's the moms fault that he'll now have to deal with assaulting an officer and face the consequences and repercussions for it. She put those kids in a terrible situation.

yeah his dumbass was backup and probably didn't know there were kids in the car, but that is just reckless to have that be the first thing to do as soon as you get there

honestly if i'm the first cop i just get the plate number and just put out a warrant with the ticket and charges...

its unlikely she is a danger to anyone and there are kids in there i just would let it go and stay on patrol and have her deal with the warrant and tickets coming in

As far as the cops....what was he thinking was going to happen while he fired those shots? Was he planning on hitting the mom in the back of the head with a bullet (gta v, style) so the van would stop moving? That was fukkin FOOLISH. Regardless if there were children in the vehicle or not. They should have just hopped in their vehicles, and chased her down. Firing shots? The reason the "4 min" chase was so long was probably due to the mother being scared for their fukkin lives. :smh:

I'm not sure what to think of the first cop. She did try to run after the first stop...I'm sure it's protocol to arrest those who try to run from you. She should have just took the ticket and left. :smh:
