Yes but now we got white in themix. My mom thinks my other brother will bring home a Filipino, which wouldn't surprise me if he did. My two little brothers... lawd knows. They already told me in middle school they like white girls. My mom said she could she me with an Asian guy since the only guys I've introduced to her have been short.

Why not? I am. Most of my family are. If you've ever met people from Brooklyn/ Jamaica, Queens/ NYC in general you'll learn this is not out of the norm.

My father is a retired vet but I'm didn't have the Army brat experience. I'm not a sneaker head. My brother likes rock. My ex likes trance. We all have different experiences but what ties us together is our history and culture.

Some AAs are creole, some are Gullah, some have native roots, some are militants, some are Muslim, some are Christians. Some are Atheist. We are not a fukking monolith. Black people are diverse and dynamic.

If your child is born and raised in Cuba, then your child is Cuban/ Afro-Latino. He or she is Afro-Latino because they are of African descent. However some people take Afro-Latino to mean having a blend of African and Latino cultures, because technically a lot of Latinos have African ancestry but they don't recognize, claim or partake in African culture.

This is all assuming you or the mother is black.
