Black women are collectively fed up with the stereotypes and their negative image portrayal in the industry…. Are we about to see a shift?

Black women shaking they clappas and black men toting guns is what gets pushed unfortunately. Cacs run the media and unfortunately that’s the side of us they want to promote. It’s a shame to because young cats are making great RnB and other forms of music but you gotta go out your way to find that shyt.

This is what happens when you have a “getting the bag culture.” This is what happens when “shame” is considered a remnant of patriarchal culture.

Look at how twerking is considered “empowering”. Those water buffalos twerking in that black owned restaurant blamed everyone but themselves for being uncouth banshees.

The small contingent of black women who speak up get labelled “pick-mes” when they hold these hoodrats accountable. The silent majority go along to get along so they don’t get caught in the crossfire.

Just fall back and let the trash take themselves out. Before, all you had to worry about is how many abortions your girl had before she met you (and trust me, she had at least ONE). Now you have to consider if she has/had an onlyfans, sex tape, multiple kids/tattoos etc.

I’m just glad I’m out of the game because I wouldn’t want to choose from this collective trash of women today. You single brehs have got it bad.

No they aren’t. The major news stories this summer, involving Black women acting a fool, shows us that. Most Black women are not willing to call out bad behavior.

I don't want to generalize but this.

Even if they totally disagree with the behavior, most black women aren't going to denigrate a female c00n.

They just aren't wired like that unfortunately.

:patrice:........you sure about that?

Could a sworn Treach didn't get involved with Flavor Unit until AFTER her first LP.
You could be right. Either way, he was still influential in her penmanship. Also, since I’m thinking about it, Kim and Fox had some help too. Also you could just look up her first album and look at the writing credits, minus the producers or sampled tracks. Some of those songs, her name ain’t even listed. Her music was still as dope to me as the dudes tho.

only female rapper i ever liked enough to actually cop their album was Lauren Hill.

Lady of Rage.

Unnecessary Roughness is better than Miseducation to me.

But I like bars.

Lauryn didn't rap enough on there for me to even consider it a rap album.

Rah Digga is dope but I didn't jam her shyt like THAT. Rage I did.

Ship has sailed honestly. There is no rectifying the situation without heavy handed tactics, the type not possible under our form of government and definitely something you don't want the white majority being in charge of.

But it's not just a black issue, it's an American cultural rot issue. But as with anything, negative impacts on society at large impacts the black community the worst

It’s not even that women are like this behind closed doors but regular passing woman to the public. That’s always been a thing. These women are openly ratchet and supported by sorry ass dudes saying “ they just having fun” for every thing they do.

Like a poster said earlier, this ship has sailed about 15-20 years ago. Best solution is to focus on kids 10 and below and reset the images presented on social media.
